Homestuck: Classpect

I consider myself to be a Mage of Space, but I've contemplated possibly being other aspects instead. Namely, I used to be a Witch of Space, but wanted to be something a bit more interesting. (Everyone wants to "change space", that's obvious! I also didn't want to just steal Jade's classpect.) In terms of aspects I contemplated being instead, I believe I could easily be Light or Doom aspects. Close seconds are Blood or Time.

Why am I a Mage of Space? Firstly, I really like the aesthetic of space. Monochromatic colours are my favorite, and red is also a colour I like a lot. (It's the colour of love, and blood in the case of a badly designed hospital floor.) I also like space in general - I believe its closely related to void, that is to say, the wide unknown expanse of nothingness. Despite it being so vast, there are still little guiding lights. This is part of where my "Mage" class comes from as well, I am the little guiding satellite signal you find in space.

In terms of personality, the Space players we know of tend to be motherly, and I believe I suit that role - all though more in the fatherly sense. I would keep my teammates safe and make sure everyone is doing okay. I generally relate the Space players (Kanaya, Jade, and Calliope) a lot, as well. My sister has even compared me to Jade before! The Extended Zodiac website states that Space players are the type to "burn it all down in order to create something greater", which I relate to. I am often more likely to destroy everything to pave the way for a new, better version of something - than to try and build a skyscraper on a rotting foundation. The Extended Zodiac also states that Space players can be creative, but also apathetic. Perhaps my relation to this is simply being autistic, but I believe I carry these traits. Space players are also supposedly "connected to Life or Regrowth" in some ways, which I can easily relate to. When playing Left 4 Dead 2 with my friends, I am the one who constantly holds a Defibrillator to revive them when they die. Similarly, it's a running joke that I am the only player in my group that dies and comes back as a godtier... This also connects to having two Dream selves, which I'll talk about later.

Why am I a mage? Despite not being a light player, I have an insatiable drive for knowledge. I also am known to attempt to guide and help other people in multiplayer games. I relate to known Mages/Seers (Sollux, Rose, and Terezi) I also believe the combination, Mage of Space, creates interesting ideas for powers. I think my powers would relate to knowing the path to take, and understanding the trajectory and speed of objects innately.

Homestuck: Other Aspects I relate to

Another aspect I could be is Doom. This is because I relate to Sollux in certain ways, and I also tend to have this annoying urge to constantly sacrifice myself in games for the greater good. Zombies about to kill my friends? Use myself as bait so they can escape. Now, does this usually work? Not really... My teammates seem to need me, for some reason, and often times if I die the rest of the group crumbles instantly. How unfortunate.

I could also be a Light player. Due to my need to learn about Everything Always and Forever, I can see myself being this aspect easily. I relate to Rose in her quest to learn Literally Everything about Sburb, and a specific scene that comes to mind is when she started destroying her Land to learn more about it. Alongside this, I would totally contact the Horrorterrors if I get to have more information about things. However, it simply doesn't call to me as much as the other options. I think the aesthetic of the Light aspect is just... very bright to me.

Time would also work for me, but more in the context of it being difficult for me to grasp. Timelines - especially ones occuring simultaneously - tend to confuse me a bit. I think it would take me a long time to master my aspect if this were the case. Reasons I believe I could be Time is that I relate to the struggles of the Time players. Feeling as though one never has enough time, or wanting the power to just "stop it all, even for a second". To quote the Extended Zodiac, "Their lives are often marked by struggle, not so much because fate has it in for them, but because they are fundamentally incapable of just accepting things as they come." I relate to this a lot. Alongside this, Time players are supposedly "connected to death" in some ways, which I can relate to, but perhaps not as strongely as the opposite.

Homestuck: Blood Caste

I am a Gold Blood, for slightly more reasons than simply being a Gemini. The most obvious reason is that gold/yellow is one of my favorite colours. Gold Blood eyes often being two-color with no pupils is fun too, since it’s similar to Slugcats. I likely relate to this due to my disdain for expressing emotions with my face. It also gets the "no thoughts head empty" thing across. Another reason is Sollux is just a pretty cool guy. Gold bloods are known to mess around with technology a lot, which, well... I am autistic and have a website. That kind of explains itself. Gold bloods likewise often have strong psychic abilities. I relate to this with being in my brain all the time (autistic), and also I get to gloat about being better than everyone haha. In all seriousness though, it relates to my whole Mage of Space thing. It kind of just makes sense for me to be a little low-tier gold blood who is secretly cool. Lastly, gold bloods like twos, and "Wawa" comes with two "wa"s, so there. I am a Gold blood.

Other bloods I could have been instead are Purple or Jade. I have less reasoning for these aside from simply liking the colours and liking the two trolls of these castes (Kanaya and Gamzee). I believe the only blood I was really thinking about being was Lime, but I am happy with Gold blood.

Homestuck: Dream Self

Now, why on Skaia do I have two dream selves? Several reasons. I relate to both Derse and Prospit, and since I am indecisive, I just chose both. I likely am closer to being Derse than Prospit, but I flip-flop on the two constantly. I relate to the Derse players a lot, more specifically the often calculating, academic nature of them. It seems like a lot of the Derse players tend to be neutral or chaotic in terms of alignment, which I relate to. On the other hand, I like being Prospit because yellow is one of my favorite colours, and I tend to be optimistic over pessimistic. I also like staring at skaia and seeing the past and future at the same time, its very pretty but also disorientating. There is also a joke that both of my dreamselves are on Prospit and the Derse one somehow flew all the way to Prospit for whatever reason.

Left 4 Dead: Special Infected

What Special infected would I be in Left 4 Dead, if i were to become infected? I would likely be a Smoker or a Hunter, if I had to choose between all the options from Left 4 Dead 1 and 2. I have stronger reasoning for being a Hunter over being a Smoker, though.

Hunters act sort of cat-like, and generally very "feral". This makes sense as being what I'd become, since I tend to act somewhat cat-like already. I could very easily see myself just loudly growling in a corner of an abandoned mall or something. Although I am not someone who partakes in parkouring around, I do enjoy high vantage points in video games, and I also am known to randomly leap off ledges in said games because it's fun. I also think scratching someone in the stomach until they die is probably something I would do if I was a zombie. I think the design of the Hunter is also very "me-coded" if you will, since I prefer obscuring my face in most circumstances. My main reason against being a Hunter is really just that it is kind of a basic choice, yeah everybody wants to be a parkour wizard who looks edgy, obviously. Who wouldn't want to leap around and scream at survivors?

Smokers are kind of like Saint, and I think Saint is very cool (ha ha). Being a Puffball Mushroom of course, it makes sense that I would explode into a cloud of dark green-ish spores. That's literally just what Puffballs do. I am also known for being a Range player in almost every game I play, therefore having a tongue to grab people works as my ability. I am also generally a very sickly person, so coughing all the time is also something I would do. Honestly, I am probably coughing from all the dust and pollen, nobody's been cleaning since the apocalypse started >:/. In terms of design, the Smoker wears a pretty neat jacket. The Smoker also screams a lot, which I would likely do too if I was a zombie.
